Turning on the light for those in the dark while empowering them to identify their inner strengths to live their best life is my biggest passion. I began my journey in behavioral health in 2013 while employed for the McNabb Center, and I eventually moved into a role working with the Crisis Stabilization Unit as a group therapy facilitator until 2021. I returned to graduate school at the College of Social Work in 2019. I am currently certified in trauma treatment through the University of Tennessee with additional recognition from the College for graduating Summa Cum Laude, highest honors. I am also a member and leader of Phi Alpha National Social Workers Society since 2020. Here, at River Valley Health, formerly Cherokee Health Systems, I conduct both individual and family therapies at our Western Avenue location Tuesdays-Thursdays in addition to behavioral health consulting at East Knox location on Mondays and Fridays where I assist patients in establishing behavioral goals to improve their health outcomes.
