Rachel Hovis, MD

Rachel Hovis, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who enjoys the challenge and reward of caring for underserved patients in our community. Dr. Hovis currently provides our patient population with needed procedures such as joint injections and skin procedures ranging from biopsies to skin cancer excision. She also provides clinical supervision and teaching for several nurse practitioners. Raised in Mississippi, she completed medical school and residency at the University of Tennessee in 2005. Since moving to Knoxville in 2007, she has become a full fledged Volunteer. In her time outside of work, she enjoys raising kiddos and working in her church's job ministry.
