Kheera Joe, LPC-MHSP, MS, NCC

Kheera Joe, LPC-MHSP is a Licensed Professional Counselor- Mental Health Service Provider. She was born and raised in the Caribbean. She majored in Psychology and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL. Following her undergraduate studies she later worked at the Boys and Girls Club in New York City for approximately 2 years. Kheera completed her graduate studies at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale TN where she obtained her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She interned at Parkridge Valley CIOP in Cleveland TN and Parkridge Valley Respond in Chattanooga TN. Her post graduate work includes working with individuals with substance use disorders and dual diagnoses in the adult and adolescent populations. Kheera currently sees adult patients. With 4 + years of clinical experience, she strives to empower her patients towards challenging negative thoughts, building confidence and developing healthy coping skills to navigate life’s challenges. Her hope is to encourage patients to see themselves as more than just their diagnosis(es). Kheera enjoys traveling, listening to music, making memories with family/friends, reading and outdoor activities like ziplining, waterfall hiking and going to the beach.
