Heather Shipley, LMSW

Heather Shipley graduated at the top of her class from The University of Tennessee in 2024 and has enjoyed working with various populations since. Heather attended her bachelor’s practicum with Cherokee Health Systems and returned after receiving her master’s degree. Prior to that, she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2023 (Go Vols!). Heather is honored to work with people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, and enjoys learning from each person she has worked with. Heather works to implement her clinical training into her daily practice, focusing on best practice therapeutic interventions and specialized treatment planning.

On her own time, Heather enjoys time with her partner of 15 years, three children, two granddaughters, a cat, and two fancy rats. Heather is a Knoxville native and especially enjoys summers on Norris Lake.
