River Valley Health’s Chattanooga Clinic Opens Pharmacy for Patients
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn., October 16, 2025 – River Valley Health (RVH), formerly Cherokee Health Systems, opened its new pharmacy at the Chattanooga Clinic on October 16, 2025. RVH’s Chattanooga pharmacy is available for all patients to utilize.
As a Federally Qualified Health Center, River Valley Health’s Chattanooga Clinic serves nearly 5,000 patients annually. Services include adult and pediatric behavioral health and primary care.
“This new pharmacy expands our services and reinforces our commitment to care in the Hamilton County and surrounding Southeast Tennessee area. Adding pharmacy to our integrated primary care and behavioral health services under one roof is one more way we are making healthcare access easier and more convenient,” shared Dr. Parinda Khatri, CEO of River Valley Health.
Now having a pharmacy on-site, patients who need prescription medications don’t have to travel to a second location to get their medication. This saves time and money for patients.
“We are proud to open this new location, our fifth River Valley Health Pharmacy location, in Chattanooga. Our pharmacy staff will be working with patients to provide and educate them on their medications,” said Stacy White,
Being an FQHC, River Valley Health offers many medications at a discounted price or on a sliding fee scale. This helps make prescriptions more affordable and accessible for our patients.
This pharmacy is open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, except between 12 and 1 p.m. for lunch.
